A Fragment of a Late Helladic Terracotta Roller Returned to Greece

Today, after a decision of the Swedish government, a fragment of a Late Helladic terracotta roller, found during excavations in Asine in 1926, returned to Greece after almost a hundred years at Uppsala University and the Museum Gustavianum (https://ecsi.se/opathrom-11-04/). The fragment was presented to the Greek minister of Culture, Mrs Lina Mendoni, by the Ambassador of Sweden to the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Mr Johan Borgstam. The fragment will be united with its other half and exhibited at the Archaeological museum of Nafplion.
